Lowering
Lowering the stock rear end. Submitted By Brad. I got 2" blocks from "Brockman Mellowtone" (765-489-4111) We removed the metal skin and greese soaked cloth around the leaf springs. We removed the bottom 3 leaves (of 7) and inverted the bottom 2, eliminating the 3rd leaf. I didn't measure before but I estimate the drop to be about 4 inches. Some photos may be more helpful than others. See photo "blocks_side view". It shows the bolt (nut under the spring) that keeps the leaf springs together. My understanding is the placement of this bolt is the reason you can't use cheaper blocks from JC Whitney and other sources.
